Medixus wants to create a reliable, confidential network for doctors and nurses to connect and collaborate. The goal is to remove barriers to quality patient care and drive global improvements to medical treatment. Currently, healthcare workers are often limited to their physical peer networks; Medixus closes the gaps in physical peer networks and ensures no healthcare worker goes unsupported, thus, providing means to upskill and indirectly improve the quality of care patients receive. Through Medixus, healthcare workers are able to upskill their own knowledge base and make improved clinical decisions without needing to refer patients to over-strained & often prohibitively costly referral hospitals.

The AppsAfrica Awards supported by Uber, JET8¸ Syntonic, KaiOS and Mobile Monday South Africa (MOMO) provide winners with industry recognition, global publicity, and networking with 300+ industry peers at the Awards party in Cape Town on November 12th on the eve of AfricaCom.
