Nigeria: Founder2Be Holds First African Event in Lagos

founder2beFounder2Be is the world’s largest co-founder finding service with presence in America, Europe and Asia. Founded in 2011 and now having over 15,000 registered users, Founder2Be seeks to increase this number by extending it offerings to Africa and Australia.

The first Founder2Be meetup in Africa will be holding in Lagos, Nigeria on the 11th of August 2013. At the forefront of facilitating this event are two Nigerian entrepreneurs, Chinedu Onyeaso and Emeka Akano. Although they didn’t meet on the matchmaking site, these two entrepreneurs founded Entarado together and have developed two products: WebBlis and Schoolboard.

One of the more prominent success stories of Founder2Be is Cureeo, an ecommerce startup for artwork, which has already received US$75,000 in funding. Founder2Be acted as a platform that introduced founder, Maida, to her co-founder, Abid.

Imagine the power of two or more people who are able to take the best in each other and build a formidable team, ready to take on the challenges of establishing a lasting company. Do you have an idea you have been thinking about but cannot execute alone? Are you a startup founder looking for someone with complementary skills to help build your business? Then you should be at the first Founder2Be event in Africa.
