Mobile Web Africa 2014, the fifth South African edition of the most progressive and interactive mobile focused events in Sub-Saharan Africa, returns to Johannesburg on 10th and 11th. MWA2014 will take place at Randlords, Johannesburg and will include a developers app competition.
Local and international speakers
The conference will feature the very best local and international speakers from from organisations including Praekelt Foundation, KPMG, GoMetro, Junk Mail Digital Media, Saya, Retroviral, L5Lab, Africori and Mahindra Comviva. World-renowned mobile expert Tomi Ahonen will deliver a special address during the main conference, as well as a dedicated full-day workshop on Friday, 12th.
App developers competition
AppCircus@Mobile Web Africa will be taking place at the conference. The competition is sponsored by Intel and will gather together the region’s top mobile developers to showcase their latest app creations. 10 developer entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch their app live on stage in front of a jury of mobile industry experts.
