Africa’s one billion plus population is adopting technology at an unprecedented rate. However many tech startups and entrepreneurs in the UK are not familiar of the vast opportunities that exist in Africa’s thriving tech scene.
The Africa Technology Business Network (ATBN) is a specific forum designed to build a bridge between the tech communities in the UK and Africa. The goal of ATBN is to foster collaboration, skill sharing and co-innovation between the two tech ecosystems.
Unlocking opportunities in Africa through Business and Technology
You’ve heard it before “Africa is rising”, it’s the “next frontier”, home to” 7/10 of the fastest growing economies in the world”. The ATBN’s next event, Unlocking opportunities in Africa through Business and Technology in London on March 4th, aims to explore some of the great opportunities available. Speakers include BBOXX, Emerging Crowd, MoveMeBack and Kwanji.
The event will also feature a panel discussion where speakers will share their insights on the role of technology and business in Africa’s development and how we can become enablers of that development.
