Tola Mobile announces expansion into card payments as it strengthens its pan-African payment orchestration platform. Tola Mobile, a leading provider of mobile money integration across Sub- Saharan Africa, has expanded its platform to include card payments, giving businesses a unified way to accept and manage digital payments across the continent.
With operations now spanning 23 African regions, Tola provides one of the most extensive mobile money footprints in the industry. The addition of card payment capabilities marks a significant step forward in the company’s mission to offer merchants a single, streamlined API for all major digital payment channels.
“For more than a decade, Tola has focused on building reliable, scalable mobile money infrastructure across Africa, ” said Shay Hamilton, CEO of Tola Mobile. “By adding card payments into our orchestration layer, we are giving our customers even more flexibility and enabling them to reach a wider base of consumers with a seamless, unified payment experience. ”
Tola’s platform supports real-time mobile money deposits, withdrawals and direct settlement, and now enables merchants to integrate card payments from leading providers through the same API.
The company will be sharing more about its expanded capabilities at upcoming industry events, including the Africa Tech Summit in Nairobi in February.
