The Africa Business Angel forum (ABAF) brings together some of the most influential investors and entrepreneurs that are servicing Africa and looking widening their circles. It is hosted by NewGenAngels, a private members’ investment club focused on Africa based in London. We also have a wealth of industry leaders and influencers giving us their insights into the rapidly growing African business ecosystem.

This forum is the premier gathering of the angel capital community that is exclusively focused on exploring investment opportunities in Africa. The theme for this forum is ” Mobilising early stage investment capital”
The inaugural Africa Business Angel Forum (ABAF) event held on the 3rd of March 2016 saw the announcement of two funds totaling $60M to be invested in African startups. And 3/5 startups that pitched at the forum have already secured follow on funding.

The ABAF recognizes the market opportunities of African Inspired Brands, notably the fashion industry, and
organized a first panel discussion during its inaugural event to explore investments in the growing African
fashion, fintech,education and media industry.
